Moka was a very good tour guide, from start to finish. She took good care of us 5 senior citizens, explained the places we went to and brought us to good places to eat. She is an awesome guide.

Saw all the main sights with Moka in Nagoya. Had such a lovely time visiting the Shrines, Castle, Temple as well as the shopping street. Lunch was delicious too. A wonderful and fun day spent with Moka.

I’m from Hawaii and was brought up to always show the “ALOHA” to all, including visitors to our island and state….. Since I don’t speak Japanese I was just hoping to hire someone who could translate for me, I had no high expectation at all…. But what a pleasant surprise to have chosen Moka!!!! She is such a delightful person…. Very intelligent, conversational, and attentive to everything… But her most amazing quality is her personality!!! She made my friend and I feel very special and in no time we were laughing and smiling together with her…..Even when explaining her vast knowledge of the different places we toured, it was with a genuine smile always!!!! My wife and myself had a wonderful time on half day tour at Nagoya castle and Nagoya city with Moka. I decided to select Moka as our tour guide after reading Moka’s professional profile. Moka arrived at Nagoya airport and waited for our arrival and she picked us up at the arrival area of Nagoya airport, she is very punctual on time. We visited Nagoya castle and Nagoya city center with Moka and her driver Yoko for almost three hours and we loved their company. Moka speaks very good English and she explained us history about Nagoya castle and about Japanese culture in detail. We were very impressed with her. This was our first time in Nagoya and we were interested in learning more about the city and history. Moka is very knowledgeable about Nagoya and showed everything we wanted to see. I was was looking for Japanese green tea and she exactly where to go in Nagoya to find the premium tea we wanted. She introduced us Nagoya katsu curry – a real treat.

Moka has made our day in Nagoya a great one. She is somebody who you prepares well for the tour,who you trust,enjoy with and enhance your knowledge about the places. Moka really take care of me and my wife when we visited the castle yesterday. It was cold and wet and because my wife is just recovering from her cold and flu, we decided to change some of the original outdoor sightseeing activities to indoor. Moka was very accommodating and helpful. We had a wonderful time with Moka especially my wife, she manage to get some of the things she wanted to buy in Japan especially the local brand. Moka also took us to a Shabu Shabu restaurant for lunch. Its was delicious and most enjoyable. Wow! We had an amazing time with Moka exploring and sightseeing Nagoya together. She’s very personable and made our party of 5 feel like we are traveling with a good friend from the start. Communication in English was very natural brcause Moka had previously lived in Seattle for a year. She had professional expertise of the areas (she hosted large group tours from cruises previously) and she was able to offer welcomed insights of local life and Japanese history throughout the trip. The itinerary was well planned in advance – from taking us off the beaten path to experience authentic matcha tea and mocha at a traditional tea house to making reservations to a very popular local restaurant for lunch (we skipped a very long waiting line). From bringing additional umbrellas for our group because of the rain forecast to accommodating unexpected stops along the tour, Moka was dedicated to help make our day a wonderful experience. We couldn’t have chosen a better guide for this city. Thank you Moka for an amazing time!

Our trip to Nagoya wouldn’t be as perfect if it wasn’t for Moka. She was very communicative and helpful in every way, willing to modify our itinerary many many times over. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent. And she wrote down which subway to take if we wanted to go to other places in Nagoya. On the day of the tour, we were running a bit late because my youngest son wasn’t feeling well. She patiently waited for us and when the tour ended a little late since my boys enjoyed the Toyota Museum so much, she did not hurry us up. Our Nagoya trip was made much more enjoyable because of Moka. I will not hesitate to have her accompany us again whenever we are back in Nagoya. Thank you so much Moka.
